Winter wonderland. No question about it. I live in the armpit of sunny California. When I lived in the snowy areas, I loved it so much more than the sweltering heat of a California winter. I enjoy the cold way more than I like the heat. I don't belong here!

Do you tend to forgive and forget or hold grudges? What is the longest you've ever stayed angry with someone? Is there anything the other person could say or do to win back your friendship and trust?

It really depends on the offense. I try not to hate anyone, so if I'm holding a grudge, you've done something extremely horrible to me. I think we all remember the man stealing bitch from last year. While I don't even want to have anything to do with the guy at all, the fact that she backstabbed me when she was supposed to be my friend still pisses me off. I cut off contact with both of them, but she's pretty clueless and once in awhile messages me. Then I get pissed off all over again.

Other than the biggies, if you've offended me or something, I'll usually confront you, we'll talk and work it out. The longest I've stayed angry was probably a couple months. We worked through things and now all is water under the bridge.

So, yes, if you haven't done anything extremely harmful to my health or happiness, it's entirely possible to remain a good and trustworthy friend. However, if you're a backstabber, you're gone for good.

Strange that I had a dream about this last night and this was the question that popped up this morning. I had a dream that I was on Mars and we were travelling around to other planets and studying them. It wasn't by spaceship though, it was some kind of instant transport. Not QUITE beaming, but close.

Weird. Very weird.

But yeah, space travel has always been an interest of mine.

Yes I have. I was tired of being treated like a project instead of a friend, so when I had the chance, I read a little bit of her writings and found that she was certain I was crazy because I didn't conform to her standards of "perfection". I sometimes wish I'd never read it, because I'd rather think I was a friend...not a project.

Innocence. I miss seeing the world through childish eyes. I miss thinking my parents were immortal and super-heroes. I miss not having to work all day...when it wasn't mandatory to be responsible. I miss thinking my parents knew everything. I miss it more now that I'm a parent and my daughter thinks I know everything. I miss just about everything.

Honestly? I seriously think I belong in the 40's or 50's. Not sure so much as a teenager, but in general. I don't know why, I just sometimes feel that I don't belong in this decade at all...except for my mad computer skills, everything else is just...yeah.

Ugh...most cartoons today are disturbing. El Tigre drives me nuts. Every character on that show is ridiculous, disgusting and stupid. The plots always involve something gross and nasty. Same with Yin Yang Yo. Nasty plotlines and nasty characters. I hate it when Emilee watches these shows. The characters have nasty attitudes that she started to copy. I try to keep her from watching these as much as possible. There are a few more but these ones bug me the most.
